    Kathy: Yeah, because I cant stand her dictator style.

    **By rephrasing what you said before you can help listeners to understand easily. That is the Key Point in

    this lecture.

    That sure was unexpected = I didnt expect you to say that

    **Since Ben and Kathy are misunderstanding each other due to different opinions and perspectives, by

    explaining in different ways or by rephrasing them they are closing the gap in between the differences of

    the opinions.

    -I think that means: ~ *By using this expression you can take the sentence or views spoken before and rephrase or reconstruct

    them into a different form of sentence.

    *The way how you pronounce or intonate (intone) the expression is that so is very important since the

    meaning can change depending on intonation. It can be passed on as agreeing or disagreeing with what

    the other speaker have said.

    -I cant stand: ~ Ex) I cant stand waiting in a line for tickets when the line is like a mile long.

    **SUMMARY: Reconstructing or rephrasing your points and speeches can help the listeners to

    understand your views more clearly. So if you have very important thing to state, make sure you rephrase

    them in a various ways so the majority of listeners can understand.
