La Porte Elementary
Principal’s Portion
Leopard Community,
As we are rapidly approaching the end
of the school year, we still have many important
goals to accomplish. May is an important month
in the measurement of academic growth. Not
only do we have the STAAR test for 3rd, 4th &
5th graders, our KG—2nd graders participate in
the MAP and DRA/BAS testing.
We also have field trips, celebrations and
awards planned. Look for information being
sent home regarding summer school, test results,
kindergarten registration and end of the year
procedures.
We have had a great year at LPE and plan to
finish strong.
Thank you again for your continued support.
Respectfully, Carol Williams Principal
