Objective
• When observing the environment, students will be able to differentiate the four seasons with 100 percent accuracy.
Target Audience
• Kindergarten-1st grade• Special Needs
• With such a young audience, the information should contain examples that can relate to the students’ lives
Environment
• Individual• At a computer• Alone or in a group
Orientation
• I will relate what the students have already observed outdoors and give them seasons to link them to.
Motivation
• Pictures of common things that correspond to seasons (Santa, snow, etc.)
• Different colors corresponding to seasons• Motivator (Timmy the sun)
Information
• Season characteristics• Major holidays
Application
• The students will be able to use this information every day as common knowledge. They will be able to see what season it is by stepping outside.
Evaluation
• The students can self-evaluate by working on the quiz and seeing how many questions they get right.
