Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut isn’t a dramatic overhaul. And while improvements like
better controls are welcome, the frame rate stutters were not invited guests. Regardless, Deadly Premonition
is utterly engrossing. It’s a mess by any objective
standard: the visuals and audio effects are decrepit, combat mechanics are functional at best, and simple activities like driving and navigating are awkward and obtuse. But Deadly Premonition is
absolutely divine all the same, making up its own rules for what it means to be a good game as it goes along, and leaving you happily stupefied by the time you’ve reached its eye-opening finale.

DOGS are great walking com-panions and personal train-ers. Get out and get active with your pet today and you will both reap the rewards.
It is a known fact that dogs are happy and healthy with regular exercise. Most dogs do not exercise when they are on their own. They spend most of their time laying in the yard, waiting for you to come home and play with them. This may lead to anti-social behaviour and boredom such as dig-ging, destructive chewing and barking. Regular walks to different parks and other dog exercise areas such as beaches, river trails and mountains will provide your dog with variety. Why not spoil your pooch with a trip to Tra-more, Co Waterford this sum-mer or at Inistioge’s natural wonderland at Woodstock. Some local pet shops also
provide specific dog walking programs in the south east. This is a great way to get your pooch socialised and share stories or concerns with like minded pet owners.
I addition to taking your dog for a walk there are many activities that promote healthy exercise and assist in forming a closer bond with pet and owner. For those that may use bad weather an excuse not to exercise, try dog agility which is one of several dog sports that can be done inside and outside. The Carlow/Kilkenny Dog Training Club encourage all types of dog sports as well as training for those that need a little help with walking their dog in public.
Don’t delay, the summer is here and there are many rea-sons to get out and get active with your pet today.

ARIES Mar 21 - Apr 20Much as you like to be in control, what happens this week will upset all that. In fact, there
is a strong chance that someone you encounter over the next fewdays will play a pivotal role in your life over the next few months – as a lover, muse or friend.
TAURUS Apr 21 - May 21You seem to have been feeling particularly vulnerable just recently. Just keep in mind you
are talented and popular, and stop worrying about things that may never happen and get on with doing what you do best – namely, living life to the full.
GEMINI May 22 - June 21This is a week for owning up to mistakes you have made in the past – you can expect a fair
hearing and get off with little more than an admonishment. But don’t push your luck and get slap-happy in the future: you won’t get off this easy every time.
CANCER June 22 - July 22Make a wish and wait for it to happen seems to be this week’s message – especially when
it comes to your career. But don’t take it too literally and think you can just lie back and let it come true. The more effort you put into it, the more you will get out.
LEO July 23 - Aug 23If you are in need of a change of direction or purpose, now is the time to do it. Take a cool,
hard look at your present circumstances and decide what needs changing. The further you push back your boundaries now, the better you will feel in the future.
VIRGO Aug 24 - Sept 22If you have run out of excuses for not dealing with a money matter, now is the time to deal
with it. Play your cards skilfully and you could even turn the situation to your advantage and come away with some cash in hand. But you have to make it happen.
LIBRA Sept 23 - Oct 23You will be less accomodating and more critical of the people with whom you live and work.
Not your fault: certain people have had things their own way for far too long. But don’t go too far in the other direction and end up the villain of the piece.
SCORPIO Oct 24 - Nov 22You need to get out more. You need to spend time with people who share your wavelength
and love a good gossip. Just don’t get too uninhibited and jeopardise a fledgling friendship which has the potential of blossoming into something long-lasting.
SAGITTARIUS Nov 23 - Dec 21You pride yourself on your skilful juggling of your various commitments – and with good
reason. But with current cosmic influences warning you not to push yourself too hard, you are advised to slow down, take stock and discard any unnecessary liabilities.
CAPRICORN Dec 22 - Jan 20You have no shortage of brilliant ideas, but are not always all that good at putting them into
practice. Now, however, with all your signs favourable, you will be able to prove that you can not only talk the talk but walk the walk.
AQUARIUS Jan 21 - Feb 18Something relatively unimportant is likely to irritate you this week, and a few adjectives and
nouns could fly. Fortunately, you are better than most at coming up with the ideal phrase or saying. Just don’t overdo it and end up a victim of your own genius.
PISCES Feb 19 - March 20Signs warn you not to cross swords this week over a business or financial matter. Even if you
are convinced that you are right you should seek a second opinion from an expert: one who is qualified and not so emotionally involved will have the right objective.
