Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust initiated the Relief Work in COVID- 19 Pandemic to the rural community
by providing food to the needy
Since the announcement of Lockdown by the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi in regard
to the global Pandemic, Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust steeped forward and took initiative to
provide food to the needy, poor and deprived community in the vicinity of chitrakoot. The Trust has
constructively planned to provide Food Packets and nutritious diet to more than 2000 persons
every day throughout the lockdown . Trust is not only taking all the measures to support the needy
yet maintaining the guidelines of the Lockdown but, also creating awareness about the COVID 19
prevention to the community and distributing hygiene kits.

Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust took the initiative of providing the emergency health services to
the Patient during the Lockdown Period. The highly trained and efficient team of Doctors and
Supportive Medical Staff is not only providing 24X7 emergency services but, also conducting
special training for hand hygiene and cleanliness and preventive measures to be taken to avoid
COVID -19 to the patients and attendant .

A training & Awareness Program was initiated at Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust both in Chitrakoot
& Anandpur to fight against COVID 19 Pandamic for the staff and their family members . The main
motive behind the program was to make them aware about the gravity of the situation and provide
them updates regarding guidelines given by the central & State Government and department of
health. The sessions were meant to motivate them to stay calm and alert during the lockdown
period.

thAIOS - 13 Jan 2020
All India Ophthalmologic Society (AIOS) organized its 78th Annual Conference “AIOC 2020” from
13th - 16th January 2020 at Gurugram. More than 15 Ophthalmologists along with Dr B.K. Jain
(Director & Trustee) from Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya, Shri Sadguru Seva Sangh Trust participated in
the conference. Various Paper, Video and poster presentations (E-posters) were presented by Team
SNC.
Dr Alok Sen, Medical Superintendent and HOD – Retina and Uvea Services, on behalf of SNC received
the “Best of IJO Award” for the best publication in Indian Journal of Ophthalmology during the year
2019. Dr Rakesh Shakya, HOD and Senior Consultant Department of Glaucoma received the Award on
the “Toughest Video Award”.

thAayushman Bharat Inauguration-17 Jan, 2020
On 17th January 2020, Launching ceremony was organized on the occasion of getting empaneled
with “Ayushman Bharat Yojana” initiated by National Health Authority and Union Ministry of Health
and Family Welfare, Government of India at Sadguru Eye Hospital and JankiKund Hospital.
The chief guest for the Inauguration ceremony was Dr Ashok Awadhiya – CMO, Satna. Dr B.K. Jain -
Director and Trustee SSSST, Dr Ritu - District Ayushman Officer, Shri Hariyansh Dwivedi District
Coordinator were present among other distinguished guests.

On 23rd January 2020, Sadguru Shiksha Samiti celebrated the birth anniversary of Netaji Subhash
Chandra Bose by organising a three-day inter-school indoor sports competition. Various indoor
sporting events were organized among the students of all the educational institutions operated
under the aegis of Sadguru Shiksha Samiti.

“Chaurasi kosiya Shri Chitrakoot Dham Parikrama” commenced from Shri Raghuvir Mandir on 25th
February 2020 and was completed on 7th March 2020 . Members of Sadguru Family in the presence of
Sadhus and Saints did the poojan and wished them a favourable and auspicious pilgrimage. Also a

Every year Shri Sadguru Seva Setu Parivar Rajkot participates in the eye care activities carried on by
Sadguru Sankalp Netra Chikitsalaya Anandpur. This year the Mega Eye Camp was organized from 25th
November 2019 to 25th January 2020. Various gurubhai-ben from different parts of the country
participated in this two month long camp and provided their valuable services. The gurubhai-ben
deeply involve into various activities such as feeding the patients; cooking; escorting the patients
from wards; discharge of camp patients etc.

A sudden strike by an arrow into the eye of Ayush while playing, lead him into the world of
severe pain and dark. Being aware of suffering and pain due to his Tuberculosis problem since last six
years. Mr. Bhole father of Ayush didn't wanted his child to go through the same. Therefore, with lot of
difficulty he took Ayush to the nearby Banaras Government Hospital. Where he was diagnosed with
corneal tear and Mr. Bhole was informed that the child requires a surgery and also mentioned that it is
difficult to perform a surgery in their hospital as they are lacking with equipment and anesthesia.
Hence, referred they the child to Sadguru Netra Chikitsalaya Chitrakoot. His father was puzzled with
the thoughts of finance and transportation issues, but his family supported him and made required
arrangements as they were much concerned about Ayush's future and thus decided to visit SNC.
Centre for child eye care (CCEC) of SNC, had again screened Ayush for his problem were along with the
corneal tear a pus formation in retina (Endophthalmitis) was diagnosed. Therefore, understanding
their family financial circumstances, SNC supported the family and performed the required surgeries
on Ayush. Performing consecutive surgeries on Ayush, concerned his relatives but later after the
surgery when Ayush was relieved from pain and started to see the thing clearly, eased them from all
of their mental and emotional strains. SNC supported a Five-years-old child from deterioration to
restoration of his sight, so that he could go further and make a bright future.
