Celebrating
International
Women's Day
The Grade 5/6 students
celebrated International
Women’s Day by reflecting
on inspirational women
from around the world.
Here are some examples of
our students’ thoughts on
these amazing individuals.
When You’re Child is Absent
Just a reminder to all families that we require notification about absences from school no
later than 9.00am on the day of the absence. The office is required to call parents if there is
an unexplained absence and as the school is legally required to verify the reasons for any
absence we do ask for timely notification. It is easy to
register an absence. Simply leave a message via the school phone message service on 9428
1909; email us on [email protected]; or visit the school website and click the
‘Report an Absence’ button to fill in the online form.
Head lice In The School
We have had a number reported cases in all levels. Please regularly check and treat your
child as we are required to send any student found with headlice home.

A Message From The SRC
—Zones of Regulation Day.
On Wednesday March 28th, we will be having a ‘Zones of
Regulation Day’ to raise money for The Royal Children's
Hospital. You can come dressed up in a colour that repre-
sents an emotion from the Zones Of Regulation. Some ex-
amples of what you can wear are different coloured socks, a
coloured hat, a striped top, or some multi- coloured pants.
The colours of the Zones are blue for if you're feeling down,
green for if you're feeling calm, yellow for if you're feeling
annoyed, and red for if you're feeling angry. You are allowed
to come in a mix of colours, so be creative. Make sure to
bring a gold coin donation.
