Maximizing God-given Abilities
• Rom 12:6-8
We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; 8 if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.
Maximizing God-given Abilities
• Eph 4:11-12
It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teachers…

Leading Self
Maximizing God-given Abilities
It is of critical importance that Leaders get away to strengthen their God-given gifts and “lean into” these gifts to accomplish the work of the ministry. Otherwise leaders get lost in the business of “life” & ministry.
Expressions of Maximizing One’s God-given Talents
• Exceptional output & results (God’s blessing is evident)
• Experiencing increased Joy in ministry/work
• Sense of “resting” in God’s provision

Maximizing God-given Abilities
In your Triad:
1)Review last months SMART Goals
2)Discuss what specific steps could you take in the next 7 days (month, year) so that the you can begin leaning into your God-given Abilities resulting in your ministry hitting the 60/40 ratio?
On a 1 (Low) to 10 (High) scale how would you rate your
60/40 ratio? What is maintaining you at that level? What actions could catapult
you to a greater level of maximizing your God-given
abilities?
