Eligibility & Application Requirements
Eligibility
• Successfully completed (at least) all first year MBA core course requirements (exception for Morning/Evening students)
• Attained at least a B+ (3.3) grade average over all core courses
Application Requirements• Complete Online Application Form on R-World• Rationale Essay or Statement (1 page max) :
• Why you are a good candidate for exchange• How this experience fits into your overall career/personal goals• Why the particular school (s) you have chosen are a good fit• Why you would be a good ambassador for Rotman/University of Toronto
• MBA Resume• PACE Transcript

Selection Process
Selection Committee considers:• Applications• Interviews
Decision Criteria:• Motivation and initiative• Academic/career rationale• Academic performance• Ability to be a good Rotman ambassador• Additional benefits & considerations (e.g., we do not send students ‘home’)

Cost
Tuition Tuition, incidental/ancillary fees to U of T Registration at U of T Remain eligible for U of T and Rotman Scholarships & Financial Aid Host Institution may require additional incidental fees (e.g. for facilities or
course materials) and/or Health Insurance
Supplemental Costs Students will be responsible for budgeting for all supplemental costs while
participating on exchange:• Passports, visas and official documentation• Housing & food• Travel • Supplemental health insurance• Laptop warranty & insurance (if required)• Vaccinations (if required)

Course Selection & Requirements All students required to study on a full-time basis while on exchange;
equivalent to 12 – 15 Rotman Credits (4 – 5 electives)
Morning/Evening students must take a full-time course load during their exchange term and are eligible to return to their study schedule upon return
All courses (and credits) at host university MUST be approved by the Rotman School prior to obtaining credit
There must be NO significant overlap in courses taken at host university with courses taken at the Rotman School
Students may wish to consider registering for an Independent Study if course selection at host university is limited and if it is not possible to register for the required number of courses/credits to meet MBA graduation requirements
Exchange subjects evaluated based on partner university marking scheme

Pre-departure
Pre-departure Session
• All students who are selected for exchange are required to attend a MANDATORY Pre-Departure session in April.
Safety Abroad
• All students must complete the Safety Aboard Tutorial online. • Completion certificate at the end of the tutorial must be sumbitted to the
International Programs Team

While Away
Rotman Expectations
• Promote Rotman and the International Exchange Program• Maintain solid academic standing according to partner school’s &
Rotman’s standards• Submit Interim/Final Reports on term abroad• Act as a resource for students interested in applying for the program
