Timatic COVID-19
Timatic COVID – COMPLETED
• Timatic has:
– COVID-19 test requirements for all countries around the world
– The ability to validate that COVID-19 tests meet government entry requirements. This was made possible with the additional of 8 new information fields to cover COVID-19 testing (e.g., Test type, result, etc.) – in line with CAPSCA agreed standards
• Provision has been made in Timatic to handle vaccinationrequirements

IATA Travel Pass Advisory Group
Challenges
• Governments need to mandate issuance of digital certificates proving vaccination
• A global framework for acceptable testing is urgently needed
• Governments need to implement ICAO global standards for ‘Digital Travel Credential’
• Global standards need to be developed for digital vaccine credentials / “Smart Vaccination Certificate (SVC)” as proof of vaccination
