Disassembly - Step 1
To begin, power off your device fully
Remove the battery cover, battery, Sim Card, and Micro SD card
Use a Torx T5 screwdriver to remove the six (6) screws on the housing
*Note that these screws are the same size

Disassembly - Step 2
Use safe open pry tool or spudger to release the clips holding the red housing to the device. Work your way around the outside edges, releasing each clip. We suggest starting near the volume button

Removing the Motherboard - 1
Use your small Phillips screwdriver to remove the two (2) screws securing the motherboard to the device.
Also use your pry tool to lift the vibrator motor away from the

Removing the Motherboard - 2
Begin prying up on the motherboard, but be cautious of this USB port cover falling out
Fold the motherboard carefully to the right, as shown in the figure. The motherboard is still connected by two (2) jaw connectors. Remove the tape covering them and lift the black tab to release the flex cables. Gently remove both cables from the connector

Heating the Screen Assembly
Once the motherboard is removed use a heat gun or hair dryer on medium heat to warm the front of the screen assembly. Heat the outside edges of the touch screen for around 30 seconds

Releasing the Touch Screen
Once the adhesive is properly warmed, use a nylon spudger or pry tool to release the touch screen. Be cautious of the flex cable located on the top of the screen. You will not be able to fully remove the touch screen at this point

Removing the Screen Assembly - 1
With the touch screen released (besides the flex cable which is still attached to the back of the LCD), use your heat gun or hair dryer again to warm the back of the LCD screen. Focus on the areas marked as this is where the adhesive lays

Removing the Screen Assembly - 2
Use your spudger to apply pressure on the LCD screen through the holes in the housing. If the adhesive is not releasing, use more heat. You may flip the screen assembly over and pry the LCD screen out once enough adhesive is released.

Prepping the Touch Screen Digitizer - 1
If replacing the touch screen, swap over the soft button distributers located on the keypad. This is held in place with adhesive, simply peel it up and place it over your new touch screen. Attempt to align them in the exact same orientation as the original screen

Prepping the Touch Screen Digitizer - 2
If replacing the touch screen you will also need to apply fresh adhesive to the screen. Use the guide below to place new adhesive.
*Be sure you do not cover any camera or sensor holes with adhesive

Assembling the Screens
Securely press your screens together, insuring they are properly aligned.

Attaching the Screen Assembly to Housing
Insert the new screen assembly into the front housing, insuring the cables are snugly pulled through the slots in the housing.

Installing the Motherboard
Insert the two (2) screen flex cables back into the motherboard. Once fully inserted, close both jaw connectors and flip the motherboard over.

Reassembling the Motherboard
Be sure to secure the USB dock cover back into the frame before securing the motherboard.You can then replace the two (2) small Phillips screws and vibrate motor back into its slot in the housing

Almost Done!!
Place the plastic housing over the motherboard and firmly press the housing until the clips pop into place.
Replace:
Six (6) Torx T5 screws
Sim Card
Micro SD Card
Battery
Back Battery Cover
