help them be successful in the areas they
want to be successful.
Don't teach knowledge for knowledge's sake.

Use whatever means is most comfortable to
them.
Take an interest in their world, and they maytake in interest in your subject matter and
your world.

"knowledgeable" last on their list of whatthey look for in a professor.
Don't think you can impress them byknowing all the dates of important historicalevents.
