1. In 1986 a county-wide loop freeway system voted down 43% to 57%

2. In 1989 a county-wide general road improvement plan failed 39% to 61%

3. In 2002 a City of Tucson initiative road improvement main plan failed 31% to 69%

4. In 2003, City of Tucson initiative with a heavy transit focus failed 37% to 63%
