Halloween can be fun. Here
are some tips to help keep you
safe.
Trick or Treat
At your age, you need to be with a responsible
adult.
MasksEye holes should be large enough so you can see in front and to the
sides.
It should fit properly.
Make-up
Great choice!
Flashlight
Try to have at least one person in your group
carry a flashlight.
Lights
Be sure to go to houses that have the lights on and are welcoming.
Stay outside
Stay outside of houses when trick or treating.
Costumes
Should be reflective or with bright
colours and be fire resistant.
Costumes
They should be short enough so
that you can walk safely.
CostumesMake sure you
are warm enough. Put
clothes underneath if you are cold.
Traffic
Walk on the sidewalk,
driveways and be very careful on the street.
Crossing the Street
Walk on one side of the street and then cross to the
other side.
Candy
Wait until you get home to have an adult check your candy.
