GERALD S. “SANDY” GRAHAM BIO

Mr. Gerald S. “Sandy” Graham is a multifaceted Business Growth Catalyst, buttressed by an entrepreneurial spirit, with a record of success in driving business growth, attaining strategic business objectives, increasing market share and strengthening client service delivery for small business enterprises to Fortune 50 organizations. He is a highly skilled manager in meeting program objectives on schedule, and has a history of success in generating winning business proposals and strategies that produce new business, increase brand identity and achieve client needs. Accomplishments include:

Increased market share 50% by attaining strategic market objectives and implementing business optimization solutions for small business clients;

Developed winning business plans for new ventures that succeeded in attaining 100% financing objectives;

Produced $5M in new business for IBM Global Services CRM Practice by developing winning business proposals in meeting client objectives;

Developed strategic business solutions for IBM Global Services Siebel Practice that produced over $2 million in new business;

Reduced Total Cost of Operation 25% to 35% for ESI International clients by improving project management and business processes.

In an ancillary capacity Sandy has produced commercialized plans involving technology transfer, conducted program management involving technology transfer, and has managed federal contracts involving the National Science Foundation (NSF). Highlights include:

Developed a commercialization plan for the development of an alternative energy vehicle powered by a revolutionary electric engine power train for Camus Technologies.

Participated as a Subject Matter Expert in the review of the State of Florida university technology commercialization process.

Co-developed NSF STTR Grants for First Stage ($100,000) and Second Stage ($500,000) for TransGenix, a University of South Florida bio-tech startup.

Managed the NSF contracts in the delivery and implementation of a U. S. EPA project for the reorganization of the Office of Research & Development National Laboratory System that established three national labs and two national centers.

Established, implemented and directed a $10 million project portfolio program for the U.S. EPA’s National Office of Research & Development‘s Center for Environmental Assessment involving program management, including contract management oversight of IT, engineering, environmental risk, and biotechnology projects.

Presently, Sandy is the Managing Partner with Sequoyah Associates focused primarily on entrepreneurial development or “economic gardening” providing business growth solutions for first and second stage small business companies in multiple market segments, on an advising, coaching and consulting basis. Sandy holds an MBA with concentrations in Entrepreneurship and Management Leadership from the University of South Florida, an MS in Economics from the University of Tennessee, is a 2004 Kauffman Intern, a contributing author on Free Cash Flow in growing biotech startups, and his first book entitled "See the Green$: Achieving Your Entrepreneurial Dream, LOGOS Press, January” is due to be released in January 2011.
