LEVEL 1 :Foundation
LEVEL 1 : Foundation• Level 1 certification –
known as TOGAF Foundation – is the entry level
• Provides an acceptable level of knowledge about the terminology, structure, and basic concepts of TOGAF 9.1. This includes understanding the core principles of Enterprise Architecture & the TOGAF standard. The focus at Level 1 is knowledge and comprehension.
• Learning outcomes for Level 1 – Foundation are a subset of those for Level 2
The Level 1 Foundation exam comprises: 40 multiple-choice questions, covering 11 topics:
The TOGAF 9 Level 2 Certification exam samples all of the learning outcomes with eight scenarios and eight questions,
drawn from the following topic areas:
• Level 2 certification – known as TOGAF Certification - provides validation that in addition to knowledge and comprehension, a candidate is able to analyze and apply knowledge of TOGAF
• You can take the TOGAF exams in 2 steps: Level 1, followed by Level 2; or you can take a combined examination: Level 1 with Level 2
