LESSON 7A Verb signs often have a

direction built into them. Can convey the doer and

receiver of the action Multi-directional verbs

Starting point show the doer

Ending point shows receiver or destination

Help I help you or You help me

All the information is included in the sign and gloss I help you

I help her

He helps me

The doer and the destination or receiver should be placed in space before the verb is signed.

LESSON 7B One directional

verbs The doer must me

signed separately from the verb.

First sign the doer then sign the verb toward the receiver or destination.

Tell her about the cat.

Remember: Before something can be sent, brought, given, etc it must exist Please give me the

hat.

He lied to her and she hates him now.
