Fourth of July weekend won’t have much of a bang this year, which hits Santore Fireworks especially hard. Based in Scha-ghticoke, it is the Capital Region’s major pyrotechnics provider since purchasing Alonzo Fire-works in 2015. Most area fireworks shows are cancelled, includ-ing major Santore clients Lake George, the City of Glens Falls/Glens Falls Symphony, Bolton, Hague, the Washington County Fairgrounds, the City of Albany, downtown Saratoga and the Rac-ino, Schenectady’s Rivers Casino and West Point Military Academy, Santore manager Jeff Ward told The Chronicle.
