Gaylord opryland resort & Convention Center
Gaylord Opryland Resort & Convention Center has 2,881 guest rooms
and 600,000 square feet of meeting, convention and exhibit space.
Lavish gardens, waterfalls, shops and restaurants are situated all under
glass. Indeed, with nine acres, it is the largest combined resort and
convention center under one roof anywhere.
Fast FactsGaylord Opryland is an entertainment resort that includes the Grand Ole Opry,
Gaylord Springs Golf Links, the General Jackson Showboat, the Ryman Auditorium,
the Wildhorse Saloon and the Radisson Hotel Opryland.
Gaylord Opryland was built primarily as a meetings and conventions property, and
it has contributed significantly to Nashville’s popularity as a prime site for national
and international business meetings and conventions and as a major destination for
pleasure travelers.
Six Gaylord Opryland ballrooms are the delight of event planners. The largest, the
Delta Ballroom, covers 55,314 square feet. The others are the Presidential (29,120
square feet), the Tennessee (18,105 square feet), the Governors (18,273 square feet),
the Ryman (6,033 square feet) and the Magnolia (3,364 square feet).
In addition, Gaylord Opryland has 101 meeting rooms and the 263,000-square-
foot Ryman Exhibit Hall. It and other spaces mean the resort can accommodate
approximately 95 percent of the 10,000 trade shows conducted annually in the U.S.
The resort has become famous for three massive indoor gardens that are
surrounded by balconied guestrooms and crowned by sparkling glass roofs. They
are the Garden Conservatory, the Cascades and the Delta atria.
Gaylord Opryland has 16 restaurants and food and beverage establishments
on-site, including our four signature restaurants and five lounges—Water’s Edge
Marketplace Buffet, Ristorante Volare, Cascades American Café and
Old Hickory Steakhouse.
And Gaylord Opryland is a shopper’s paradise, with more than 12 retail stores
throughout the resort.
