FRIDAY THE 13th
WEBITE ANALYSIS
I don’t like how small the Title is. It is tucked away
In the top left corner of theWebsite whilst I feel it
Would look a lot better ifIt was at the centre of the
Site. It should be one of theFirst things someone looks at.
I like the background on this Website, with the eerie trees
And a seemingly old, abandoned House as it creates the right
atmosphere for a horror movie.
I don’t feel like the picture of the woman in the foreground of The picture shouts horror. She is obviously one of the
Characters in the film, however she doesn’t look scared, Distressed or evil and so I don’t think this picture fits the mood
Of the film very well.
I think there is a lot of space in the bottom Left of the website that hasn’t been used For anything which could have been used So as to make other things bigger such as The title and release date. It certainly looks
As if something is missing in that spaceAnd almost ruins the website.
I like how the tabs haveBeen presented on thisWebsite and contains
Every tab that Is needed
The main thing I don’t Like, again is the size Of the title which I feelCan be easily missed
And should be a lotBigger and central on
The website.
The use of a different font colour for the Release date of the film works well as It draws the audience’s attention to it,
This is good as it is an important piece of Information.
The ‘Synopsis’ tab is Also in a different fontColour which again
Draws attention to it.
I think all this writing is a bit too Small and should be much larger,
Especially the tabs such as ‘Synopsis’.
The credit block seems very normal for a film website And even includes extra interactive material, ‘send
Your friends webcam footage from crystal lake’.
The only thing I might decide to include would Be social networking opportunities such as a
Facebook page or twitter page.
