Fremantle Leisure Centre Swim School o�ers lessons for all ages and abilities.
We provide professional, high quality instruction in a safe and enjoyable environment. Lessons emphasise teaching swimming technique and water safety.

Swim School Classes
Lessons are offered during school terms; however, dates may vary slightly. Swim school dates are published on the website.
Lessons are not held on public holidays or Easter Saturday & Sunday.
The Learn to Swim programs are ongoing and require payment by fortnightly, direct debit. All other programs require an up-front term payment.
Learn to Swim students remain in the same class until they achieve the required skills and move to the next level.
The January holiday program is a separate program to the Learn to Swim program. Fee and enrolment information will be available on the website in November each year.
Can I book and pay at the centre?
Yes, you still have the option of enrolling and paying for a term at the centre, however 5% discount applies to enrolling online.
Where can I find a timetable?
The online booking system on our website will show class times and vacancies.
Does my child need an assessment?
Aquababies will not require an assessment.
Learn to swim beginners with little or no water experience may enrol online without a swim assessment. Refer to the website for a description of beginner level classes.
All other students are required to have a swim assessment prior to enrolling into a class.
Are there any extras included in my fees?
• one free spectator entry per student• swim school entry card• parking permit–carpark 14.
Your entry card is required every time you enter the centre.A fee is charged for replacement cards.
What if I miss a lesson?
A credit or refund is offered if a medical certificate is provided for the missed lesson. We cannot offer make up lessons. A $15 administration fee applies to all refunds. Refund cheques are sent in the mail.
If I pay by direct debit can I get a credit for a missed lesson?Your next direct debit payment will be credited if a medical certificate is provided.
How can I withdraw from a class?
To cease direct debit payments complete a cancellation form at least five days prior to your next scheduled debit. As you pay for lessons two weeks in advance you will then have two more lessons before ending your time with us. The cancellation form is available on our website and at the centre. Cancelling classes in a term program requires a request in writing and will incur a $15 administration fee.

Learn to Swim students:• return to the same class at the beginning of each term - no need to re-enrol • will have skills assessed regularly by the teacher and the On Deck Officer• can swim free all year• can cancel from the program at any time. Aquababy classes:
Aquababies must re-enrol each term in the appropriate class according to their age. Enrolments into this program after the fourth week of term are not accepted to ensure minimal disruption to classes.
Teenswim, Youthswim, Junior Lifeguard, Special needs and Adult classes are other term programs on offer.
