MOGENS KOCH FOLDINGCHAIR
The Mogens Koch Folding chair is designed in 1932. Koch worked with the simple folding principle in a series of furniture, including - apart from the Folding chair - the Folding stool, the Folding table, the Grandchild chair, the Embassy table and a stand which can keep six folding chairs.
The Foldingchair, the Grandchild chair and the Folding-stool are produced in beech and mahogany with cover in either natural canvas or oxhide. For the Foldingchair a cushion can give extra comfort. The Foldingtable is pro-duced in mahogany, ash and in a combination of beech frame with peerwood verneered tabletop. The Embassy-table is made with teak tabletop and frame in beech-wood. Chairs, tables, stools and stands are oiltreated.
Foldestolen måler 56 x 56 cm opslået, 87 cm høj. Barnebarnstolen måler 37 x 37 cm opstået, 61 cm høj. Stativet til stolene måler 58 x 56 cm, 64 cm højt. Foldebordet måler 71,5 x 52,5 cm, 47 cm højt opslået. Sammenfoldet måler bordet 71,5 x 52,5 x 4,5 cm og er forsynet med en læderstrop til ophæng. Ambassadebordet måler 108 x 88 cm, 65 cm højt. / The Foldingchair measures 56 x 56 cm, 87 cm high. The Grand-child chair measures 37 x 37 cm, 61 cm high. The stand for the chairs measures 58 x 56 cm, 64 cm high. The Foldingtable measures 71,5 x 52,5 cm, 47 cm high. When folded the table measures 71,5 x 52,5 x 4,5 cm and is provided with a leather strap for hanging on the wall. The Embassytable measures 108 x 88, 65 cm high.
Mogens Kochs Foldestol er tegnet i 1932. Koch udviklede det enkle foldeprincip i en hel serie møbler bestående af foruden Foldestolen også Foldetaburetten, Foldebordet, Barnebarnstolen, Ambassadebordet og et stativ til ideel opbevaring af seks Foldestole.
Foldestolen, Barnebarnstolen og Foldetaburetten udføres i bøg og mahogni med betræk i natur lærred eller okse-hud. Til Foldestolen kan man desuden få en hynde, som giver ekstra komfort. Foldebordet fås i mahogni, ask og en kombination af stel i bøg med en pæretræsfineret plade. Ambassadebordet udføres med en teaktræsplade og stel i bøg. Samtlige foldemøbler er oliebehandlede.
