As herbal remedies and natural foods will contain phyto-chemicals that have immune-supporting properties, it has been stated to avoid Flor·Essence®in cases of intentional immune-depression, such as for people who have organ transplants and are taking immuno-suppressant drugs in order to prevent their immune-system from rejecting the foreign organ tissue
In large dosages some of the herbs in Flor·Essence® may be considered to have laxative properties; do not use during pregnancy as cleansing and detoxifying during pregnancy and nursing may not be ideal timing in any case, as it may pass on toxins to the infant
