Caracteristics of the D.R.E. Composite for floors
100% ecological (test carried out by the Center of Biology and Ecology for Building Materials in Berlin,
Germany) and 100% recyclable after use; Can be cast in molds of any shape and size, with various thicknesses; Can be colored in the mass; Can imitate the look of wood, marble, ceramics, stone; Can be carved by hand or mechanically; Can be heat embossed with various patterns; Can be worked with conventional woodworking machines; It has neither fiber nor knots, which makes them easy workable; Can be utilized with the look given by the manufacturer, or can be plated with any conventional
material, such as: metal, plastic, glass, wood veneer, rubber etc. Density: 400 kg/m3 - 700 kg/m3, depending on the type of floor; Dimensionally stable; Elastic; Compressive resistance: 55 N/mm2 parallel to pressing direction, and 27 N/mm2 perpendicular
to pressing direction; Bending resistance: 60 N/mm2 - 75 N/mm2; Mechanical shock resistance: 660 daN/cm2; Wear resistance:0.468 g/cm2; It does not support combustion and it does not emanate smoke or gases; Thermal-insulating; Sound-absorbing: 45 dB; Termite and other pests resistant;

Advantages:
Water resistant. Unprotected against water they absorb maximum 1% water after
30 days of immersion. They do not creak. They do not need sanding after installation because floor elements are finished in
the factory. Wear resistant depending on the type of floor (light traffic – residential floors;
medium traffic – floors for commercial and office spaces; heavy traffic –
industrial floors); Can be made in the form of slabs and/or strips of various sizes; Can be joined in various patterns by combining floor elements of different
shapes, sizes and colors. Can have either a joint system for permanent installation, by gluing, or a joint
system without gluing (floating), which allows for floor dismantling without losses
and re-installation in a different venue and a different configuration.
Types of floors that can be manufactured from D.R.E. Composite
• Residential floors
• Institutional floors: schools, hospitals,
public institutions, offices etc.
• Sports floors (with rubber embedded in it)
• Commercial floors
• Industrial floors
• Outdoor floors
Joint systems for floors made of D.R.E. CompositeJoint systems for floors made of D.R.E. Composite
Advantages:
Allows for an easy and fast installation of the floor;
Allows for the realization of various patterns, by
combining floor elements of different shapes, sizes and
colors;
The binder conceived by the inventor for gluing floor
elements in between, or onto the installation surface
has a very good adhesion to substrate, the gluing being
very strong and long lasting.

Advantages:
■ Allows for an easy and fast installation of
the floor;
■ Allows for the realization of various
patterns, by combining floor elements of
different shapes, sizes and colors;
■ Allows for floor dismantling without losses
and re-mounting in a different venue and
configuration, or in a different pattern than
the one previously installed;
