PCL® HEXACHLOROCYCLOPENTADIENE Velsicol PCL® Hexachlorocyclopenta-diene has desirable potential as a base for fire retardants in protective coatings, plastics and adhesives. PCL is a highly reactive chloro-carbon. It is a building block in chemicals having biocidal and fire retarding features. The curious organic chemist will find a worthwhile challenge in this non-flammable elastomer.
