A continuación estudiaremos su definición y el uso de estos en oraciones. Los verbos modales son: Los verbos modales son verbos auxiliares que no pueden funcionar como un verbo principal, a diferencia de los verbos auxiliares “be”, “do” y “have” que sí pueden funcionar como un verbo principal. Los verbos semimodales son: Llamamos semi-modales a algunos verbos que pueden ser a la vez modales o funcionar como verbos corrientes, o comparten alguna particularidad con ellos.
