Exercises – Mobility and stretches lower body These exercises can be used to increase flexibility in the lower body.
Tensor Fasciae (TFL)
Standing close to a wall on the right side, cross the left leg over the right. Using one hand for support, lean in towards the wall, feeling the stretch in the TFL (Tensor Fasciae Latae) outside of the upper right leg. Perform the same movement on the opposite side.
Alternatively cross the right leg over the left, bend over towards the right side crossing the hands in front and reach down towards the floor.
