ItemIdentified:BasedonfeedbackfromAdminusers,wewantedtosplitthecurrentTeamtabintoTeamandManagementtabs.Resolution:Thishasbeendone.TheTeamtabcanbeusedasafilterabledirectoryofactiveemployees.TheManagementtabcontainsmanagerdashboardsyoucurrentlyhaveaccessto(e.g.PerformanceDashboard,TimekeepingDashboard,RecruitmentDashboard,etc.).Thischangewillmakeitmucheasiertonavigatebetweenemployeeprofilesandvariousdashboards.

1.3. ProfileOverviewUpdates

ItemIdentified:WewantedtoconsolidatesomeofthepagesineStratExthataretypicallyfieldsinaprofilepage—theoldProfileOverview,ContactInformation,andName&SSN—andgivethepageafacelift.



Resolution:ThenewProfileOverviewpagehasbeenbuiltasausefullandingpagewhennavigatingtoaspecificemployeepageineStratEx.Basicemploymentinformationcanbefoundontheleftsideofthescreen,undertheemployee’sprofileimage,name,andcontactinformation.Alsoincludedaretwomainsectionsontherightsideofthescreen—ContactInformationandDemographicInformation—makingeditingemployeeinformationmucheasier.ThesettingsbuttonfoundintheupperrighthandsideoftheProfileOverviewcontainssettings(EmploymentStatus,SpokewareID,WorkflowGroups,DailyOTThreshold,SpokewareAllottedLunch,andCustomData)thatusedtobefoundontheName&SSNpage.

1.4. PositionUpdates

ItemIdentified:WewantedtoupdatethepositionpageineStratEx.Resolution:WehavecombinedthePositionandPositionDetailspageintoonenewPositionpage,whichisnowintheCareerProfiledropdown.You’llfindtwotabshere—PositionandHistory.Onthepositiontab,youcanviewbasicsandeditacurrentpositionandaddadditionalpositions(ifusingmultiplepositions).TheHistorytabshowspositionhistory(previouslyonthePositionDetailpage),withtheoptiontodownloadthedatainCSVformat.

1.5. ProfessionalBackgroundUpdates

ItemIdentified:WewantedtoconsolidateandvisuallyupdatetheWorkHistory,Education,References,andSkillspages.Resolution:Thishasbeendone!ThenewProfessionalBackgroundpageprovidesaneasyplacetoaccessallofthisinformation.Tabsexistforeachofthefourcategories—WorkHistory,Education,References,and



Skills.Newrecordscanbeaddedusingtheaddbuttonontherespectivetabs,andexistingrecordsmaybeeditedordeletedusingthebuttonsnexttotheirtitles.Anauditbuttonatthebottomleftwilldisplaydetailsofanychangesmadetothepage.

1.6. StatusChangesUpdates(Termination,LeaveofAbsence,Re-Hire)

ItemIdentified:Wewantedtovisuallyupdateandconsolidatestatuschangepages.Resolution:We’veaddedanewpage—StatusChanges—totheCareerProfiledropdown.ThispagecombinestheoldStatusChangespagesincludingTermination,LeaveofAbsence,andRe-Hire.Awizardhasbeenaddedtoguideyouthroughanyactionsyouneedtotakeonthispage,justpressthe“Add”buttontobegin,selectthetypeofchangeyouneedtoprocess,andfollowtheinstructionsineachstep.FormoredetailedinformationonhowtousetheStatusChangeswizard,seethehelpcenter.

2. Reporting2.1. TerminatedemployeeshavebeenaddedtotheEmployeeDisciplineRecordsreporttemplateand

theQuickNotesreport.ItemIdentified:WewantedtoincludeterminatedemployeesontheEmployeeDisciplineRecordsreporttemplateandtheQuickNotesreport,astheseareoftenusedforunemploymentclaims.Resolution:Terminatedemployeeswillbeincludedonthereports.Wehaveaddedacolumnforemploymentstatusaswelltomakefilteringeasier.

3. Performance3.1. ProgressiveDisciplineUpdates

ItemIdenItemIdentified:WewantedtogivefunctionalityanupdatealongwiththelookandfeelforProgressiveDiscipline.Resolution:ProgressiveDisciplinewillnowbefocusedondisciplinesteps,ratherthanpointsasinthepast.Withthenewpage,an“ActionSequence”canbesetupforeachbehaviortrackedinProgressiveDiscipline.Forexample,anactionsequenceofthreeverbalwarnings,onewrittenwarning,suspension,andterminationcouldbesetupforanemployeebeinglate(behavior:Tardiness).Now,whenenteringarecordoffortheTardinessbehavioronProgressiveDiscipline,thesystemwillrecommendtheactiontobetakenaswellastheactiontobetakenthenexttimethatbehavioroccurs.Thenewpagefunctionalitywillbeeasiertouseandmoreinlinewithcompanypolicies.Formoredetails,pleaseseethehelpcenter.



4. Payroll4.1. DirectDepositUpdates

ItemIdentified:WewantedtomaketheDirectDepositsetupeasiertousetoworktowardseliminatingerrorsthatcauseunwantedpapercheckstobeprinted.Resolution:WegavetheDirectDepositpageafaceliftandintroducedawizardtoguideusersthroughthesetupprocess!Toinitiatethewizard,clickthe“Add”buttononthetopright-handsideofthepage,andfollowfivestepstoaddanewaccount.Existingaccountsmaybeeditedordeletedatanytimeusingthebuttonsinthelastcolumnofthetable.

4.4. PayInformationUpdates

ItemIdentified:WewantedtoconsolidateEarnings,Deductions,andTaxes,andTaxableWagesintoonepagetosimplifyreviewingandupdatingemployeePayInformation.Resolution:Thishasbeendone.Earnings,Deductions,andTaxescannowbeviewedintheirowntabsonthePayInformationpage.FiltersareavailabletotherightofthechartforFEIN,Year,Quarter,andActivevs.Allitems.Youcanadditemstothepageusingtheaddbutton,andeditusingthebuttoninthelastcolumnineachtable.Ifyouusemultiplerates,thosecanbeaddedtoanearningbyclickingtheeditbuttoninthelastcolumnintheEarningstable.Pleaseseethehelpcenterformoredetailedinstructions!



4.5. NewPage:TotalCompensation

ItemIdentified:WewantedtoaddaTotalCompensationpage.Resolution:Wearehappytointroduceanewpagedesignedtohelpyoubetterunderstandcompensationinitsvariousforms.TheTotalCompensationpagewillincludedetailsaboutEarnings,Employer-PaidBenefits,anestimateofTaxSavingsresultingfrompre-taxdeferrals,andTimeAwayFromWorkaccrued.

5. Benefits5.1. NewBenefitsSummaryPage

ItemIdentified:WewantedtoimprovethevisibilityofhistoricalBenefitelectionsandincorporateanewaudittrail.Resolution:WithournewBenefitsSummarypage,wehaveincorporatedthepreviousDependentspage,aswellasaddedmoredetailstothesummaryitself.TheSummarypagenowincludestheoptiontofiltertheviewbasedonPlanYearandBenefitTier.Allassociatedbenefitdocumentscannowbeaccessedbyusingthenew“BenefitDocuments”linkonthepage.Inaddition,we’reintroducinganewaudittrailthatwillcaptureallfutureelectionupdatesmade.Withthisnewaudittrail,you’llbeabletomoreeasilytrackbenefitchangesmademovingforward.



6. Timekeeping6.1. TimeAwayFromWorkUpdates

ItemIdentified:WewantedtoimprovetheemployeeandmanagerexperiencewhenusingtheTAFWmodule.Resolution:WehaveupdatedboththeemployeeTAFWpageandthemanagerTAFWDashboard(underthenewManagementtab).TorequestTimeAwayFromWork,employeescanclickthe“Request”buttonontheTAFWPage(nowunderTime&Labor)andfollowinstructionsfourquicksteps.Wehaveaddedtheabilityforuserstoenterthestartandendtimeofdayforeachrequesttogiveamoredetailedviewofwhencustomhourswillbetaken.

ThenewTAFWManagerdashboardontheManagementtaballowsmanagerstoview,approve,anddenyrequestsforTAFWfromacalendarorlistview.Thefiltercanbeusedtonarrowdownthelistofrequeststodirectreportsonly,andbythestatusandlocationoftherequest.

Thenewpageswillstreamlinetheprocessofrequestingandapprovingtimeoffandprovideaclearerviewbothofwhattimeisavailabletoemployeesaswellasformanagerswhenplanningshifts.



6.2. VariousupdatesforeStratExtimesheetsItemIdentified:Severalrareissueswithpayratecalculationanddisplayontimesheetswereidentified.Resolution:OurProductDevelopmentteamworkedquicklytofixtheseissuesandreleasethefixesthroughoutourdevelopmentcycle.

6.3. AcompanysettingfordefaultUnpaidTimeOffhasbeenadded.ItemIdentified:Whenrecordingunpaidtimeoffatpunchout,thesystemdefaultedto0minutes.Wewantedtoaddtheoptiontochangethedefaultamountofminutes.Resolution:Thishasbeendone!Ifyouwouldliketoupdateyourcompany’sdefault,pleasecontactyourserviceteam.

7. Other7.1. NewI-9

ItemIdentified:USCIShasreleasedanewFormI-9thatemployersmustusestartingJanuary21st,2017.Resolution:Thisnewformhasbeenbuiltintothesystem,replacingthepreviouselectronicformI-9innewhireandemployeeprofiles.Theforminthesystemmirrorsthenewpaperformandisfullycompliant.Inthenearfuture,wewillbebuildingoutfeaturesincludedinthefillableversionoftheform.Thesefeaturesareintendedtoassistusersintheircompletionoftheformandarenotrequiredinordertobecompliant.
