Research shows that IQ can help you to be successful to the extent of 20 percent only in life. The rest of 80 percent success depends on your EQ.
Studies have shown that employees with EQ are more likely to be successful than those are technical competent.
Top performer are more productive and EQ makes them that way

Importance of EQ to Organizations
50 % of work satisfaction is determined by the relationship a worker has with his boss.
A large hospital reduced turnover of critical –Care nurse form 65 % to 15 % within 18 months of instituting an emotional intelligent screening assessment.(EQ increase the productivity)
EQ is a prerequisite for effective leadership across border like require a high level of self mastery and people skills. Ability to put yourself into the position of others.

EQ: Psychological dimensions
emotional competency :Tackling emotional upsets, avoiding emotional exhaustion, high self‐esteem, handling egoism and tactful response to emotional stimuli.
emotional maturity : Self awareness, delaying gratification, appreciating other’s point of view, adaptability and flexibility.
emotional sensitivity : Empathy, improving inter‐ personal relations, communicability of emotions .which motivate an individual to recognize truthfully, interpret honestly and handle tactfully the dynamics of human behavior.

Motivation comes from inside the person like amount of effort , belief in self , interest
Extrinsic:
Motivation comes form outside the person like money , trophies, recognition by others.

To investigate the relationship between the Emotional Intelligence and Work Motivation
To scale the Emotional Intelligence of high experience employees.
To scale the work motivation level of high experience employees.
To analyses the effect of the Internal motivated employees on their emotional intelligence.

Type of research: Descriptive study
Sample : The sample includes 105 participants from various
corporate companies. Age range is from 21 to 62 yearsGender : Male & FemaleQualification : Graduate & Post GraduateExperience : 0 to 40 years

Questionnaire
The present EQ test measures three psychological dimensions such as emotional sensitivity, emotional maturity and emotional competency. This test has been standardized for professional managers, businessmen, bureaucrats, artists, graduate student, and adolescent population. This EQ test has a test-retest and split‐half reliability of 0.94 and 0.89 respectively and validity of 0.89.
The internal consistency (Cronbach’s alpha coefficient) of the W–SDI was .84

Research Methodology
Data Collection Data from the employees were collected by online
questionnaire under the guidance of the trained psychology faculty .
It was carried out individually or in small groups during the regular working hours.
Data AnalysisAnalysis would be done on primary data. After data
collection, multiple correlations will be calculated with the help of SPSS.
