Identifying and claiming Capital Allowances for the obvious receipted expenditure is relatively straightforward. However, the tax legislation provides a wide range of items to be claimed and in many instances you/your advisor will not know they exist, let alone ensure that the qualifying items are correctly identified, categorised and valued to pass the scrutiny of HMRC.

We think so. It is not unusual for us to find between 15 and 25% of the purchase price of an acquired property in Capital Allowances, (significantly higher where refurbishment expenditure has been incurred).
When you balance this against our fees, which are contingent based upon the value of the additional qualifying expenditure we identify and are accepted by HMRC (we never charge more than 6%). An immediate cash benefit is achievable in most instances, with a reduced tax liability effective for years to come. This may also enhance any sale price of the property where you are considering selling.
Furthermore our service is designed to take the pressure away from you as we manage the process with a designated point of contact.
Is itworthwhile?
Property cost under £300,000 We have developed an in house bespoke capital allowances App to enhance our service delivery, the improved efficiency has enabled us to offer a smaller property claims service.
This service is for properties costing up to £300k creating opportunities for many clients who are currently not catered for in the marketplace
Fees for the smaller property claims are chargeable on an incremental scale depending upon the value of qualifying items identified, however, in the unlikely event that we find less than £10k of qualifying expenditure there is no charge for this service.
