Critter Connection, Observing My World, Weather Watcher, Engineering, and Custom Field Trips
Field trips are 2 hours, can be
lengthened for additional fee
$4 per student, teachers are free

Themes
Field Trips RBNC field trips allow children and adults alike to explore the
world around us. You can search for insects, discover what
lives in the pond, and become a nature detective! All programs
can be modified for any age group and correlate with state
standards (TEKS).
An Eco-Kit is a traveling program that brings RBNC directly to
your classroom. It includes hands-on activities and one-on-one
learning with an experienced field guide.

2016-2017
STEM Ecology includes all components of STEM – Science, Technology,
Engineering, and Math. Includes both station and trail activities, and a
live animal presentation. For each grade level there is a different
program with grade related topics. All topics are correlated with TEKS.
Science Saturday is a fun-filled hands-on program that
takes place on select Saturdays from 1 to 2:30 pm!
Activities range from engaging science experiments, art
projects, to outdoor adventuring!

Creature Feature is an animal outreach program that
comes to you! RBNC will bring several live animals to
your classroom so students can get an up close look at
these awesome creatures!

Each student completes a STEM journal
3 hour program at $6 a student, teachers are free
4 hour program at $8 a student, teachers are free
Saturday Programs
Nature Tots Story Time takes place on select Saturdays
from 11 am to 12 pm. Kids will listen and read different
nature and science themed stories, create take home
crafts, and explore the world around them!
