Eligibility: You are eligible to vote if you are a citizen of the United States, at least 18 years of age by Election Day, and a legal resident of Washington State. If you have been convicted of a felony, your right to vote is restored as long as you are not under the authority of the DOC. Once your right is restored, you must re-register to vote in order to receive a ballot.
How to Register: If you have a Washington State Driver License or ID card, you may register online at myvote.wa.gov. Or, you may register with the Department of Motor Vehicles when applying for or renewing your WA Driver License. Otherwise, registration forms are avilable at the Auditor's Office in the Whatcom County Courthouse, at city halls, fire stations, public libraries, and post offices.
