Residence programmes designed to attract, select, and retain foreign investors and entrepreneurs have become an increasingly popular tool for governments seeking to facilitate job creation and target “high-value” immigration. This changing policy landscape has generated a wide diversity of schemes across the globe providing different opportunities and incentives for their beneficiaries. This presentation will provide a policy-focused overview of the various models governments have introduced, addressing questions such as:
• Who qualifies for investor and entrepreneur programmes? • What do they require of their participants • What types of investments do they encourage?
• How high is the bar for business success? • How should it be measured? • What is the future of these residence programmes? • Will they meet their governments’ high expectations?

Dear Colleague,
As the desire has grown for freedom of travel and the
protection of wealth, so too has the practice of economic
immigration. In response, have proliferated all
around the world.
With the multitude of offerings and options, comes a
multitude of questions e.g.:
• residence or citizenship?
• what level of investment is required?
• how reputable is the jurisdiction?
• how long does it take?
• can the process be fast-tracked?
• what are the tax implications/benefits?
• what about second passports?
• what level of visa-free travel is offered?
Independent Summit: Investor Immigration The summit has been designed to provide answers to these
questions for private client advisors, tax advisors, immigration
lawyers, other professionals and for people who wish
to obtain an up-to-date overview of the most attractive
citizenship by investment and international residence planning
options.
With over 40 leading experts speaking and an audience of
200+, Citizenship by Investment and International Residence
is the premier independent summit.
I look forward to welcoming you at the event in October.
Kind regards
