Capstone DesignCarried out during senior year, the capstone design projectis aculmination of student’s education and skills.Focused oninnovation, students put their engineering skills to test byworkingonanoveldesign.Duringtheyear, theylearnaboutnewconceptsinbioinspiration, leanstartupmodel, customerdiscovery, requirement engineering, and transdisciplinary design. Studentsutilize departmental resources and often industrial support todesignfunctionalcompletesystemsbasedoncustomerneeds.
