November 2012 Life Skills & New Life Addiction Treatment Program Graduates
“I’ve learned to just focus on one day at a
time… I am staying for the second phase of
the program and am hired as part-time staff
here at the Mission.” - Benjamin Jones
“I’ve learned about responsibilities while
here and now have my daughter back…
I’m enrolling in school to get my recertifica-
tion as an Emergency Medical Technician
(EMT).” - Samantha Dehn
“I used to live for drugs, females and all
that pertains to a negative life… Today, I’ve
accepted the fact that I need God in my life…
I have a gift of art that I hope to use to help
the Mission in the future…” - Maurice Wilson
As we move forward to the coming year, I want to first thank you for your dedication - in time, in finances, and in prayers for the work of “rescue” that God is able to do here in the lives of the homeless at the Mission because of your partnership of giving in 2012. Your gifts provided the homeless with over 53,311 safe, warm beds at night, 90,553 nutritious meals, 56,575 clothing items, and close to 200 clients with long-term life skills
and addiction treatment programming - which has resulted in numerous changed lives! Children are back with their mothers, fathers are reunited with their families, both have had the opportunity to restore their relationship to God and to the church community. Most are going to school or are working to save funds to be able to live independently of the Mission. Another year of our objective - “that every client will be a responsible person, living in a supportive community (church, spouse, friends), with a job and permanent housing” - has been accomplished because of your giving! As we embark on another year with renewed vigor and vision for the future (which includes 3 building projects), we ask that you prayerfully consider how you can use your giftedness to help the homeless in 2013!

Dear Friends,
I hope you had a Merry Christmas and wish a
Happy New Year to you and your loved ones.
My heart is filled with peace and joy to be able
to say that your sacrificial giving has helped us
to end the year out of the red!
I cannot express the gratitude that the homeless
and (formerly) addicted clients, staff and I have
for what God is able to do in their lives because
of your gifts!
We ask for your continued year-end donations
and giving in the coming year (as well as partner-
ing as a volunteer) that will continue to bless the
lives of homeless men, women and children.
Please feel free to call me at (209) 320-2314
to talk or for a tour of the Mission campus.
