Rebrand for creative agency, Hamilton-Brown. The brief was to develop a visual identity that would convey a sense of fluidity and movement, that would help to dispell the perception of Hamilton-Brown being soley a print based design agency.

We are always challenged by our clients to be innovative and to push boundaries. Our new identity allows us to demonstrate this flexibility and show our creative thinking.
The Hamilton-Brown logotype and HB ident can work together or in isolation.
When used together, follow the spacing guidelines or use the constructed version of the logo + logotype lockup.
The logotype is the only element within our identity that should be used in conjunction with a specific colour palette for standard print and onscreen applications.

Identity and brochure design for prestigious Central London developement 22 Bishopsgate. CBRE wanted to produce a piece of literature that could ‘stand up’ to the premium feel and wow-factor of the actual development. I worked with a print company to pioneer a new intricate print technique that allowed us to produce a wooden hinge that could be wrapped around the circular spine of the slip-case.

06Lord Darzi beside our bus
On winning a 3-way pitch battle, Hamilton-Brown were very excited to get stuck into this multi-faceted project. The Lord Darzi initiative ‘London Health Commission’ was established for the sole purpose of researching the physical, social and mental wellbeing of London’s people. The 3yr initiative accrued a wealth of data that needed to be presented to the Mayor of London but also interpreted and used again by the national media. Our task was to humanise the data, design the hard-copy and interactive reports, provide animations, double decker bus wrap and posters

07Logo design
The client had previously published a very non-brand compliant internal magazine. After 18mths of poor readership and interaction, Brammer decided a new name, new design and refreshed content was needed. I was therefore asked to design a new logo/mast head and redesign the magazine entire magazine. Brammer were keen for their in-house team to be able to populate the magazine, so an indesign template was created from the final design and supplied to the client

This particular audit tender was considered to be a more strategic win rather than a hugely profitable one for Ernst & Young. Dyson is a credible innovation-line business and EY were keen to build upon their existing strong hold of similar partnerships. I was asked to devise the key messaging and implement it throughout the design of the tender materials. I proposed a packaging solution, which utilised glow-edge perspex, screen print and foil blocking

06/ 07Tender document spreads
Westfield Group’s first ever residential development is to take place directly next door to their hugely successful Stratford City shopping complex. I came up with a tender concept that focussed heavily on Westfield’s retail expertise, which featured a sturdy shopping ‘bag’ packaging and a credit card themed USB device which contained CGI’s and walk-through videos

CBREEA Shaw Take over
01/023x mailouts
When CBRE acquired London residential and commercial property company EA Shaw. It was important to them that EA Shaw tenants didn’t feel the close ties that had been formed over the years would all of a sudden lost. I designed a set of mailouts that retained the familiarity of the EA Shaw brand and came up with messaging that was direct but kept the ‘local’ feel the tenants were used to. The point of the mailouts was to basically inform tenants of their new relationship department at CBRE and the need-to-know changes of how rent payment would need to be made going forward

After many years of putting out a ‘Parental Rights Unfolded’ brochure that was full of charts and tables, streams of copy, and little by the way of reader engagement. It was time for a new approach... I decided to play on the ‘parental’ and ‘unfolded’ theme by making the presentation of the data playful and introduced fold-out sections that was used to accommodate large amount of information
