While teams such as the Broncos and the Seahawks grab headlines as Super Bowl favorites, several other teams are waiting in the wings for their chance to make a run at glory. Here are three dark-horse contenders for the 2015 Super Bowl:
Atlanta Falcons
Before the disaster of last season, the Falcons were perennial playoff contenders. With a healthy Julio Jones starting opposite talented receiver RoddyWhite, the Falcons may be poised to recapture their form and make a deep run.
Indianapolis Colts
After the Colts drafted the so-called “quarterback of the future” in Andrew Luck, people have wondered when the team’s breakout season will happen. Although the team is noticeably lacking in several offensive and defensive positions, the sheer will of Luck has carried the team in the past and may do so again this season.
Chicago Bears
With the running threat of Matt Forte and the receiving prowess of Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery, the Bears certainly have the offensive firepower to put up points. If the defense can come together at the right time, the team may have a chance at a deep run.
