ATHLETICS1. Sparks Basketball Camps for girls: Select one or two 90-minute blocks of intensive Sparks girls’ basketball training.DATES: June 11-15 / June 25-29 / July 16-20 / July 30-Aug 3
2. Tustin Titans Basketball Camp for boys: Select one or two 90-minute blocks of intensive Tustin Titan’s boys basketball training.DATES: June 18-22 / July 9-13 / July 23-27 / Aug 6-10
3. Futsal with AROC: Indoor soccer is the new rave! Learn how to play Futsal and your skills as a soccer player will be awesome! Camp days will alternate with Athletic Republic of Orange County, who will work out your soccer/futsal skills!DATES: June 11-Aug 10
ACADEMICS1. #FUN Camps: Summer rendition of the Lyceum Village K8 Genius Club to keep kids on track academically all summer long.For Blocks 1 or 3, parents decide academic curriculum, including assigning music practice blocks during any 90-minute block (Singapore Math system highly recommended). For Blocks 2 or 4, campers will complete a super-cool group project which makes learning so much #FUN!DATES: June 11-August 10
2. Bionerds – Insects (Bug Me if You Dare): Come and join this fun and hands-on biology workshop for kids! Learn about the amazing bugs around us such as grasshopper, mealworm beetles, and more. Get up close and personal with live bugs using a microscope on some topics and perform cool biology experiments on the others. Materials fee: $40 due to the instructor on the first day of each session.DATES: June 11-15
Bionerds – Marine Animals (Amazing Waterworld II): Come and join this fun and hands-on biology workshop for kids! Learn about many marine animals, from sharks, octopus, sea anemone, crabs, and more. Your child will perform dissections and cool biology experiments and activities. Materials fee: $40 due to the instructor on the first day of each session.DATES: July 9-13
Bionerds – Animal Kingdom (Wilder Than You Think!): Come and join this fun and hands-on biology workshop for kids! Learn about many marine animals, from sharks, octopus, sea anemone, crabs, and more. Your child will perform dissections and cool biology experiments and activities. Materials fee: $40 due to the instructor on the first day of each session.DATES: August 6-10
3. Tinker Kamp: Camper will learn to program robots to do cool things! Young computer scientists will be engaged as they learn to tinker with robotics using Dash & Dots.DATES: June 11-15 / July 9-13
4. Real Computer Science: Become skilled as you continue to learn with hands-on guidance with industry experts CS programming.DATES: July 23-27
5. Tinker Kamp Coding: Using fun robots, learn to code using an Arduino compatible boards.DATES: July 23-27
6. Rubik’s Cube Practice with the Pros: Cubing Nationals USA competition is right around the corner in Salt Lake City on July 27-29. If you are competing, or would like to be fast enough to compete in the future, this camp is for you! Practice on official competition timers, and spar with friends. Be inspired with world-class podium cubers who will provide a demonstration masterclass on the first day of camp. Mini competition with prizes on the last day of camp.DATES: July 16-20
7. Spanish Immersion: Learn the basics of Spanish grammar, vocabulary, and cultural traditions. Taught by an elementary school teacher familiar with Spanish Immersion curriculum. This week, all of Lyceum Village will be speaking simple Spanish phrases.DATES: July 23-27
CAMP DESCRIPTIONS8. Pin-Yin Camps (Chinese as a Second Language): K-3 campers will develop an “ear” for Mandarin Chinese while having fun being immersed in this exciting foreign language. Young language learners will play fun games and sing memorable melodies in Mandarin. Each week’s class content will vary, but will strategically repeat themes to enhance learning and retention. Sign-up for all 8-weeks! No experienced required. DATES: June 11-Aug 10
9. “Practically Beginners Chinese” Camps (Chinese as a Second Language): Young Mandarin language learners will compete and win points while enjoying this series of 8 stand-alone classes for grades 4-7. Each week is a stand-along camp and there is no experience required: Week 1 – Greetings; Week 2 – Introductions; Week 3 – Fruits; Week 4 – Colors; Week 5 – Numbers; Week 6 – Animals I; Week 7 – Animals II; Week 8 – Storytelling.DATES: June 11-Aug 10
10. Fibs and Falsehoods – Logical Fallacies: Students learn logical fallacies that get used in everyday communication. Students are encouraged to find fallacies in the world around them, and understand that the use of a fallacy doesn’t make the point wrong. During this camp, students will be engaged in public speaking, interpersonal communication, group collaboration, and creative endeavors. (Grades 4-8; 6 campers are required to open class)DATES: June 25-29 / July 16-20 / July 23-27
ARTS1. Theater for Beginners: Introducing kids to the exciting world of musical theater, this 2-week camp is the perfect start where campers will learn how to tell their story through song and dance. Campers will gain stage confidence as they practice with imaginative theater games and rehearse “It’s A Jungle Out There!” The last day of this 2-week camp offers parents and friends an opportunity to see the awesome results of their work. Block 3 pairs well with our Voice Camps, and Tupperberry Theater Art.DATES: June 11-June 22

Tupperberry Art: Campers will cut, paint, color, and create costumes and props to support their inaugural performance of “It’s a Jungle Out There!” Whether you are in Theater for Beginners, or not, these arts and craft activities will surely bring out the artistic and creative side of every camper!DATES: June 11-June 22 / July 23-Aug 10
3. Musical Theater: Musical Theater is a primer theater camp. Campers will learn basic choreography and lyrics of popular, age appropriate songs, and gain stage confidence as they practice with imaginative theater games and rehearse their musical. The last day of this offers a finale performance for parents and friends.DATES: July 23-27 / July 30- Aug 3 / Aug 6-10
MUSIC1. JCM Prep Camp: Are you already missing your Junior Chamber Music friends? There’s so much more you can do! Performances and competitions require practice and preparation, and this weeklong camp provides just that. Coaching, masterclass, group performances.DATES: July 23-27 / July 30-Aug. 30 / Aug. 6-10
2. Summertime Music Competition Prep (Honors Violin, Cello, and Piano): Intensive practice, master class, and performance classes for preparing for SYMF, Santori, and Fall auditions. 10 students maximum per week.DATES: June 11-15 / July 9-13 / July 16-20 / Aug 6-10
3. Group Violin & Piano: Summer is a great time to learn music for the first time. Learn violin and piano in group lessons during block for K-3 graders, and in block 2 for 4th-5th graders.DATES: July 9-August 10
4. Voice: Learn fun new songs, with group voice lessons. Songs compliment the afternoon session, “Theater for Beginners” where you can practice singing catchy tunes from the original musical “It’s A Jungle Out There!”DATES: June 11-June22 / July 23-Aug 10
