CLINICAL PRACTICE, INTERESTS, AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Updating of Temporal Bone CT Protocols.
John I. Lane, MD Page 22 of 30
Updating of MR Protocols involving imaging of the inner ear and IAC at 1.5 and 3T. Providing imaging support for the clinical and research needs of the Neurotology Service (ENT). Participating on the Neuroradiology MR Committee responsible for shortening MRI scanning times as a means of reducing costs, improving practice efficiency and making the exams less difficult for patients. Our team was able to reduce the lengths of core neuroradiology MRI scans significiantly. Participated in the development and on-going management of the Vertebroplasty/Spine Intervention program. On-going interests in the field of Bioethics on the national, local and institutional level.
RESEARCH INTERESTS
Temporal Bone, Imaging of Middle and Inner Ear Disease, Cochlear Implants, Vestibular Schwannoma, Vertebroplasty
