CAREER HISTORY: 2014-2015: CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER/LIBRARIAN – SHIRE OF GINGIN

I was employed in the above position based in Lancelin for the Shire of Gingin until mid-December 2015 and have now relocated to Bunbury. My role was customer service and state library management. I was required to work alone part time and represent the Shire providing advice on Shire issues. As Librarian my role was coordinating the flow of stock, evaluating and processing material. I have a strong understanding of the State Library system and implement training and development. I was also involved in promoting key events using social media and running events for children’s programs. Key areas in this position were:

Processing rates, debtors, animal registration and infringements

Process complaints and provide direction for general enquiries

I was the main link between our Fundraising Team and Nursing Staff. Our clients and their families, who visited or called our office, required my caring, patience, and maturity. 2007 – 2010 OFFICE MANAGER, PERTH FOOTBALL CLUB (Lathlain) I was a part of a small team delivering support to ensure the efficient operation of the WAFL club for the benefit of the Board of Directors, members, the players, football staff and the general public. This role was a fast paced, ever changing environment requiring initiative in prioritizing workloads. I worked weekends, at home games and evenings for club functions and events. My role was multifaceted which included:

Typing correspondence for CEO & other staff

Maintain WAFL Data Base of all members

Update and maintain Perth WAFL website using Joomla

Generate Monthly report on Merchandise & Membership for Directors

Design, update and produce a monthly newsletter – electronically and by mail.

Part time Office Manager - LB Book-keeping – my role was maintaining accounting records, utilizing QuickBooks, undertake bank reconciliations, compilation & filing of BAS statements, both monthly and quarterly with the ATO, general ledger of accounts, receipts, creditors & debtors, and monthly balances of accounts. Part time Secretary - Real Estate Champions. My role was updating real estate database, transcribing letters using Dictaphone, book-keeping, update website details and general office duties. PREVIOUS ROLES PRIOR TO 2003 Carer – Family Day care (Private business 5 years) - I set up and maintained a business from home in Family Day Care through Communicare and cared for between 3 and 5 children daily. This role required knowledge in childcare, maintaining business records, planning, communicating with families and organizational skills. I maintained records and accounts on excel and word software. I completed a Certificate II in Child Care during this time STATE GOVERNMENT OF WA Word Processing Operator, Level 2, - Industrial Relations Commission. This role involved updating and editing Awards and supervising 8 staff. Designing forms and correspondence for use internally. Secretary, Level 3 for the Senior Commissioner – Industrial Relations Commission. Duties included liaising with Employer and Union Representatives and the general public, demonstrating ethical diplomacy and skills in updating sensitive data and applications, diary management, travel and accommodation arrangements Secretary, Level 3, Premier’s private reception. Front line communication with visiting Dignitaries, Ministers and the general public as well as typing and switchboard duties. VOLUNTARY WORK:
