What is

eMuseum Network?

• A way to search across museum

collections from a single access

point

• A tool for the museum community

to exchange data electronically

• Not just search, but a platform

for collaborating

How does it work?

• Each participating museum is a „node‟

• One central search point, like Google

• Choose which collections to search

– Keyword & advanced search

– Refine searches

• See which nodes returned results

• View in list, light box, single item and

XML

• Export functions: CDWA Lite & LIDO
