Comic Strip Project – Adding & Subtracting Integers

Remember how we used the comic strips below to introduce integers. Zoe & Darnell had their own way of thinking about negative numbers. Today you will be creating a comic strip on how you think about adding and/or subtracting integers.

Assignment:1. Create a comic strip that explains the thought process involved in the following:

- The comic strip should explain how you subtract IntegersOR

- Make two comic strips that explain how to add and subtract 2. Other requirements:

- Comic strip should make sense and be neat- Proper spelling and conversational grammar should be used- Hint: When constructing your text bubbles – Write out the text first then put

the bubble around it. If you do the bubble first, the text may not fit in it.- Illustrations should be neat and colorful – Use colored pencils or crayons – NO

MARKERS- DON’T FORGET YOUR NAME!!!- If your comic strip uses more than 3 or 4 boxes, it should be neatly cut out

and mounted on construction paper.
