CLOUD MUSIC
The intro:
• Cloud is just a fancy term for a group of computers
• Cloud computing collectively refers to the resources that you get through the internet
• Cloud storage is a cloud utility that allows you to store data on the cloud which perhaps you don’t want to store on your system
WHAT IS CLOUD MUSIC??
• Cloud music can simply be defined as a cloud service similar to cloud storage where data being stored is of MULTIMEDIA type
• There is more to it than just storage. It involves the INTERFACE as well, and may allow to modify the original data itself
What is the need??
• Music files are accessed INFREQUENTLY. So storing it on a disk may not be efficient utilization of space
• Having to SYNC all your music between devices is annoying. It is desirable that the music files are portable. ..i.e. a single storage with no duplications but accessible remotely.
• In case music files require CUSTOMIZABLE changes , this service is indeed desirable
