Glorietta Bay Pump Station

• Repair/Maintenance Needed– Pump rails– Pump(s)• Station has 4 pumps; one is a redundant pump• One is currently non-operational and can’t be removed

because the lifting handle has deteriorated

– Interior piping– Sludge removal– Lining/Structural repairs

Recommended Action• Authorize staff to advertise the pump station repairs

including: (wet-well by-pass not required)– Repair of rail system– Repair of pump(s)– Removal of built-up sludge– Evaluation of liner and structure– Evaluation of the discharge piping– Work to be completed by May 31, 2013

• Phase II of the project would be repairs to the concrete and wet well liner (wet-well by-pass required)– Work would not commence until after summer 2013
