for selling the tickets.
Not much news this month. Nothing exciting going
on with the Legion Auxiliary. Summer time is a slow
time, but please feel free to stop in and say hello and if
you have any ideas – please forward them to my e-mail
at [email protected]. I look forward to seeing you
all in the fall and have a wonderful rest of the summer.
Thanks
Laureen

The renewals for 2008 have started, and we have received about 75 so far. Keep them coming in to the Post. I would also like to welcome new members to the Post, Mi-chael Schladebec,, Paul Casto, Anthony Tarzia, Ed Nycc, John Coon, Patrick Van Marter, and James Iannuzzo Jr.
The flags went up along the four corners, with the inspired team of Wendell Stewart, Billie Backhoe, and Doug DeRycke. This task was made easier this year thanks to Mark Young who fabricated the numerous brackets that were needed to replace the old ones. . A Tip of my Stetson to you all. For the 2006/2007 year we made our goal of 100 paid mem-bers. The following members still have not paid; Justin Green, Timothy Horner, Joshua Kruth, John Lipa, Richard Lyon, Robert Oeinck, Michael Stephens, and Thomas Weldon. If you have not paid by July 26, 2007 you will be dropped from the ranks and the newsletter. Please be ad-vised, everyone who has given me an e-mail address will start getting their newsletters via e-mail in an effort to cut down on the cost of mailing. Anyone wishing to keep the regular mailing coming please let Brian Sanford know. Brian can be reached through [email protected]. Anyone who has not given me your e-mail addresses please drop it off at the Sons mailbox. Anyone wishing to sign up their son, grandson, or nephew can fill out an application and leave it in the Sons mailbox for me. We would like to increase membership by 30 members this year. Remember that Junior member dues are only $10. Clamfest was a great success thanks to everyone who helped. Special thanks go to Bob Longmuir for taking charge again this year - GREAT job. The Legion is looking for help cleaning up on Fridays after the fish dinners. Any other help you can lend will also be greatly appreciated. Dinners run from Noon to 8:00 pm. The more people we get the quicker things go. This July we will be raffling off 2 season passes to SU Football. Tickets are $2 each or 3 for $5. The $1,000 win-ner this year was Janet Bell. Thanks to everyone who helped sell our tickets, it was a great success. We will be holding our annual Restaurant Raffle again this year, more info to follow when things are set. Please be advised Glenn Sotherden is our new advisor. I would like to see as many members as we can get to come to our September meeting. The annual dues letters will be going out soon so be looking for them. Please feel free to call me about membership at 699-1954 leave message or cell 921-9506 leave message if no answer. Here is a list of the next several meetings: July 23…very brief, to draw the SU ticket winner. No Meeting in August September 24 Bill Bell Adjutant
