2013 (September 9th
- March7th
): Busser and Expo at Sal & Mookies Restaurant. Duties include wiping
down tables and setting them back up, and facilitating in the preparation and serving of food.
2009-2013(Summers included): Keck Fellow at W.M. Keck Center for Instrumental and Biochemical
Comparative Archaeology at Millsaps College. Duties included performing training exercises and
operating state of the art mass spectrometers and related equipment manufactured by Varian,Inc.;
prepared samples, which involved pipettes, centrifuges, solvents, and an acid-digestion microwave
process; prepared an extensive PowerPoint presentation to demonstrate the procedures for operating
the Varian equipment; trained five new Keck Fellows and eventually held a leadership position in the
lab.
2010(Fall Semester): Assistant Teacher Internship for General Chemistry at Millsaps College. Duties
included teaching 2-3 introductory segments of course work each week; tutoring students and providing
weekly help sessions; grading homework, tests, and quizzes.
2008(Summer and Winter Breaks): Lakeland Yard and Garden Center, Flowood, MS. Worked as a car
loader, tended to plants, checked inventory.
