Sea Opening Ceremonies – Camden

Public Library

Holiday selections performed by Camden

Hills Regional High School choral and

instrumental groups. Bring new or like-

new hats, mittens, gloves and scarves to

decorate the Camden Community Hat and

Mitten Tree. Your items will benefi t those

who need a bit more warmth this winter.

Parade – Downtown Camden

A festive parade through Downtown

Camden. Floats gather on Union Street

Camden and travel down Main Street to the

tree lighting with Santa Claus at the Harbor

Bethlehem – Chestnut Street Baptist

Church

Experience the First Christmas as you stroll

through the city to get a personal view of

more than 80 costumed cast members

as the recreate the city of Bethlehem as it

might have been the night of Jesus’ birth.

6:45pm Community Tree Lighting

Ceremony – Camden Harbor Park

Experience Christmas as you stroll through

town to where Santa Claus presides over the

community tree-lighting ceremony at Harbor

Park, ushering us offi cially into the holiday

season. With schooner masts lit in the

background and the star visible above on Mt.

Battie, the full sight can only be witnessed

from this vantage point in Camden. Holiday

tree co-sponsored by Bangor Savings Bank

and Journey’s End Marina.

7:30 pm The Nutcracker – Camden

Opera House

Atlantic Ballet Company’s full length version

of this magical holiday production. Tickets

are $18/Adults, $16/Children under 12 and

Senior Citizens. Tickets can be purchased

online or the day of the show at the Camden

Opera House.

Rockport Opera House

Rockport Garden Club brings you Sparkle

and Glitz, featuring appetizers and baked

goods, and tables full of costume and

vintage jewelry. A craf t boutique offers

hand-craf ted items and hand-painted

furniture, the Cook’s Corner fi lled with

kitchen items, as well as baked goods,

quick, ready-to-defrost, frozen soups and

appetizers. Also treasures from Granny’s

attic and several raffl es.

9:00am-12:00pm Beltie Holiday –

Aldermere Farm

Join this unique holiday celebration at

Aldermere Farm, Maine Coast Heritage

Trust’s historic saltwater farm preserve, and

enjoy handmade treats, craf t memorable

gif ts for your loved ones, and get your photo

taken with a belted Galloway calf.

Episcopal Church Holiday Fair

St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church will be holding

its annual Christmas Fair, a tradition in

Camden. Craf ts, Vintage Treasures rummage

sale, homemade baked goods and preserves,

a raffl e of three “Made In Maine” product

baskets and one “For Kids” basket, and a

soup and bread luncheon. Handicap entrance

around the corner on Wood Street.

9:00am-2:00pm Holiday Craf t Fair -

First Congregational Church

Featuring a variety of fi ne craf ts made by

local artisans.

9:00am-2:00pm Christmas Market

at Guini Ridge Rockport

Come celebrate the holiday season and

pickup your trees, wreaths, garland and

more! Our DIY center will be setup to

make your own wreath as well as pro-tips

for your holiday decorating. Please contact

Rockport Harbor & Rockport Marine

Greet Santa as he arrives by boat in

Rockport Harbor, followed by photos with

Santa and his elf at Rockport Marine, taken

Craf ts and Open House - Children’s

House Montessori School

Join the staff and volunteers at Children’s

House Montessori School for a free

holiday craf t workshop and open house.

Participants will create a variety of holiday

ornaments and craf ts. All materials will be

provided and craf ts are designed for a wide

variety of ages and skills. In addition to the

workshops, teachers will be available to talk

to families who are interested in learning

more about the school and its programs.

Camden Public Landing

Santa’s reindeer get to take a break

as Santa’s sleigh turns into a boat and

traverses Camden Harbor. Santa will

come ashore at the town’s Public Landing,

12:15pm Story Hour with Santa

Claus –

Camden Public Library

Gather around Santa inside the library as he

reads Twas The Night Before Christmas.

Historical Society

Join This Historical Society on tours of the

historic 1780’s Conway homestead which will
