What: The Charikar compound is a $5.8M facility designed to support the admin, billeting, maintenance, and life support infrastructure needs for the ANP HQ in Parwan province.
Where: Charikar lies 30 km northwest of Bagram Airfield
When: 21 August 2014 site visit
Why: A site visit was conducted to assess final completion of work prior to acceptance and turnover
Way Ahead: Project is 95% complete and is on track to be troop ready in September 2014. Upon final acceptance, USACE will coordinate with CSTCA for turnover to the Afghan National Police.
