Celebrate Literacy! Week 2020

Monday- “Oh! The Places You’ll Go” Day: Read Oh! the Places You Go and write a letter to your future self about the Places you will go in life and places you will visit during AT.
Tuesday- “Capture the Moment” Day: Dress as a TACKY tourist about to photo bomb a picture while you examine momentous photographs, illustrations, and diagrams.
Wednesday: Find your “selfie” with a Good Book Day: Between classes, at lunch, and in classrooms with teacher permission, take a picture of yourself with some great books.Then post on social media. Make sure the pictures are appropriate and tag #BMS #LiteracyWeek
Thursday: Explore the World of Words Day: It is “Read my shirt” Dress day. Wear your favorite shirt with words or quotes (school appropriate) while you write poems in Science and Social Studies classes.
Friday: Say YES! To New Adventures Day: “Drop Everything and Read” the first 15 minutes of each class in the courtyard, sidewalk, or hallway outside.
Complete your passport and dress up for a chance to win prizes.
