Diagnostic Tools and Devices
Medical equipment is designed to aid in the diagnosis, monitoring or treatment of medical conditions.
Diagnostic Medical Equipment helps analyse blood sugar , blood pressure, urine .
Life support equipment is used to maintain a patient's bodily function. This includes medical ventilators, anaesthetic machines, heart-lung machines and dialysis machines.

Why CNT??
Strong like a steel
Light as a aluminum
Elastic like Plastic
Excellent Chemical and thermal Stability
Rich electronic properties

CNT as SensorsSensors are devices that detect a
change in physical quantity or event.
Silicon pizoresistors have the disadvantage that their resistance is highly sensitive to variations in temperature
CNT as pizoresistive sensors has temperature coefficient almost two orders of magnitude lower than that of silicon

Working Principle
When CNT is pressed the nanotube experiences several mechanical deformations at the same time
A deformation parameter η is defined as η = (D0-d)/D0, where D0 is the original diameter of the nanotube, and d is the smallest diameter of the flattened cross section.

Working PrincipleMechanical deformation can
change electronic property of the nanotube
The band gap variation leads to semiconductor-metal-insulator transition as a function of η.
