Happy 2016! After the hectic holiday season, it’s wonderful to know that all of us can settle quietly and peacefully into the New Year. My wish is that your year be filled with all good things: health, prosperity, laughter and love! As you can tell from our Activity Calendar, this month will be filled with lots of learning. The month is devoted to “Discoveries Old and New” with the focus the first two weeks on “Dinosaur Discovery” and the last two built around “Space Adventures”. We are hoping you can help us enrich many aspects of the curriculum this month. Do you or a member of your family work in the aerospace industry? Perhaps you might be willing to share the tools of your trade with us. Maybe you have a wide variety of books, posters or other visual aides you would allow us to borrow. Perhaps you are able to put us in touch with someone who could come visit our preschoolers and share their knowledge. If you have a particular interest in dinosaurs, we’d also like you to share your knowledge and / or resources with us. Please talk to me as soon as possible. Thanks in advance for your willingness to share! Tax time (ugh!!!) is just around the corner. Should you need a yearly receipt showing how much tuition you paid to Gateway Academy in 2015, please let us know. We’ll have one ready for you!

If your child’s celebrating a birthday this month, we hope your plans include
scheduling a Well Child exam with his/her doctor. Child care licensing regulations require that ALL children enrolled have proof of a yearly physical exam on file. Please see Candace or Ashleigh for the
necessary paperwork.
Our always popular Kindergarten Club
kicks off on
Wednesday, January 27th.
Remember to wear your shirt!
Join us in saluting
Jen Christenbury, who this month will celebrate
14 Years of dedication and loving care with
Gateway Academy. We are blessed to have her!
